The agent you choose to represent you can impact your real estate experience and home sale more than you might think. Whether they’re the right person for the job depends on how they answer three questions:
1. “What will our primary method of communication be?” Find out if your potential agent plans to get ahold of you via email, call, text, or something else. Most of our clients like to exchange information and receive updates through text. However you prefer to communicate, it’s important to convey that to your agent right off the bat.

2. “How often can I expect to hear from you?” Will they contact you once a week? Twice a week? Every day? If your agent schedules a showing, do you want to be notified about it that day or sometime that week? Be clear about when and how often you’d like to be kept abreast of your showings, the market’s performance, and what can be done differently to get your home sold.
3. “What hours are you available?” Make sure you’re well-informed of their availability as well as who on their team will step in if you need assistance and they’re unavailable.
